so if any planet which between 0–1 degrees, not effective which is called infantile and if the degrees are above 24 degree then they are called dead and unable to provide the result. but this not exactly true.
For an example, if you have Saturn in Libra at 28 degree then when ever saturn will transit in direct motion only in this diptamsa or exactly on 28 degrees in transit, it will activate its fruits. before 28 degrees, it will not give any result. so if your planet is having above 24 degrees then you will get the fruits very late or in the last part of that planet’s transit & that too for very lesser time of period. because after 30 degrees travel in the sign in transit, that planet will leave that sign. so if you have any planet between 12 to 18 degrees, then you will have very longer period of fruits or results. while if it is at 28–29 degree then you will have very few hours, or days or months to give you fruits even though that planet is place in very supportive sign or exalted sign. because of this, it is called Mrit avastha (Dead age) of your planet.
