Relationship between AK and Ascendant lord

Is it essential that there is coordination between the Ascendant lord and Atmakarka planet? In my case, Sun is my AK and Mercury is the Ascendant lord: both are friends, however they are placed 2/12 to each other in the D1 Chart. So, how does it manifest? Please do reply…regards, jasprit

      Jasprit – It is not necessary but desired as let us suppose someone wants to be athlete or writer which is desire of Soul as Atmakaraka be in Mercury navansh or related to it but physical body is engaged in martian sign so there is a mismatch of priorities.

      When these planets are 2/12 to each other this means this means there is a support of one person and another one is always at loss – as a planet sitting in front will gain support from planet at back but planet in back will always be lonely.
