Empty house means there is no planet in that house! Now see, for every ascendants, there is placement of total 12 houses with 12 signs & there are total 7 planets (Considering Sun as a planet) & 2 shadow planets so total 9 planets so there has to be some empty houses in any one’s chart.

Now, here the placement of signs are very important, because it will build the nature of person in that particular house activity & placement of certain planets in that particular house is not important because majority every sign is getting, aspects from other planets as well as the lord of the planet is again very important…

So one has to check the following things;

(1) Lord of that house and its placement

(2) Lord of the house in which avastha or state. it will be based on degrees for an example, there are 5 avasthas – Infant (Child), Young , Adult, Matured, & Old. this is based on their degrees means 0–6 degrees: Child, 7–12 degrees: Young, 13–18: Adult, 19–24: Matured & 25–30: Old..

(2) Aspects by other planets if in opposite house or in case of Mars, saturn, jupiter, rahu & ketu, there may be special aspects too

(3) Sign aspects because: signs also aspects the other sign with all the bodies which is there in side .Movable signs will be aspected by all the fixed signs except one which is close to that sign, eg. Aries will get aspected by Leo, Scoprio, Aquarius but not by Taurus. While all the fixed sign will get aspected by all movable signs except the one which is very close/near to it. Eg. Taurus will get aspected by Cancer, Libra, Capricorn but not by Aries. & All Dual signs will be aspected by all other dual signs eg. Gemini will be aspected by Virgo, Sagittarius, Pisces. So all this signs also aspect the other signs in your chart with all the bodies they have inside their house.
