Hello everyone, my birth details are as follows:

I am currently 24 years and studying at IIT Madras (MS by Research in Aerospace Engineering). I completed by undergrad in 2020 and then I was planning to go abroad which couldn’t happen because of high financial baggage. I took a year drop and then joined IIT Madras as Project Staff in 2021. After working for 1 year, they admitted me to MS by Research in July 2022. I am in my first semester this feels very tough, I don’t understand it is the IIT in general because of which I am feeling tough, or I am going through a hard phase? I am concern about my degree, that will I be able to leave this place properly or not? I am also concern about my research as it is an essential part of the degree and looking at the current situations it feels like I might not get to work on things I wish to. Although, I wish to have an idea how everything will go? Also, I am planning to go abroad after this i.e., in 2024-2025 to pursue a PhD but looking at current phase I am giving it a second thoughts, that am I even good enough to pursue that?
